Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome! I'm so glad you're interested in learning more about coaching.  Below are some of the most common questions I'm asked about what to expect when working with a coach.  If your questions aren't addressed, or even if they are and you want more info, please contact me directly or Book your Complimentary Clarity Call now, and we can talk 1:1 about how you can reach your dreams and goals!

What is coaching?

How is coaching different from therapy?

Generally, coaching is less reflective and more action-oriented than therapy.  While my clients will consider their past and family of origin to the extent that these discussions assist our current work, coaching focuses on moving you from good to great, here and now.

How much does coaching cost?

Pricing varies based upon client needs.  I offer my services through several different structures and platforms.

How can I start working with you?

What should I prepare for my initial consultation?

Prior to our initial clarity call, I will email you questions about your goals and reasons for consulting me. During our meeting, we will delve deeper into your goals in order to formulate the best Course of Action for you.

How long will it take before I see results?

Most clients start to see results quickly, even after just one session. However, as with most things, the more effort and dedication you put in between our meetings, the more quickly you will experience results. Sometimes those around you will notice changes in your behavior and attitude before you become aware of them.

Remember, we did not become who we are overnight, and it takes time to change deeply ingrained habits, patterns, and mindsets. Being patient with yourself and maintaining faith are keys to success.

How much time per week will coaching take?

In addition to our recommended hour-long weekly meeting, I will suggest daily tasks for you to practice the concepts we discuss during our sessions. These will not be overly time-consuming, but the more time and energy you put into them, the more quickly you will see results.

How long will I need coaching?

It depends upon you and your goals. Generally, I recommend at least six weeks of weekly meetings.  At six weeks, clients are usually so thrilled with the progress that they have seen, there is no question that we will continue working together!  At some point, clients usually take a break from coaching.

Do you offer group consultations or workshops?
